Objectives

In Hesse apple juice+apple wine are pressed to approx. 20% from Hessian fruit+to approx. 80% from apples of other federal states or other EU countries. The demand for regional products is increasing among consumers. However, measures in orchard cultivation are not sufficient to produce the required quantity of apples. New ways of producing regional apples should therefore be considered, without reducing orchard production. The goal is to introduce the cultivation of cider fruit in Hesse+proving its economic viability. The aim is to increase the proportion of regional raw materials used in the production of apple juice and cider, also including a study on biodiversity on the cultivated area.

Objectives

In Hessen wird Apfelsaft+Apfelwein zu ca. 20% aus hess. Streuobst+zu ca. 80% aus Äpfeln anderer Bundesländer oder anderer EU-Länder gekeltert. Die Nachfrage nach regionalen Produkten steigt beim Verbraucher. Maßnahmen im Streuobstanbau reichen nicht aus, um die benötigte Menge an Äpfeln zu produzieren. Daher sollen neue Wege zur Produktion reg. Äpfel in Betracht gezogen werden, ohne dabei den Streuobstanbau zu schmälern. Ziel ist, den Mostobstanbau in Hessen einzuführen+dessen Wirtschaftlichkeit nachzuweisen. Dadurch soll der Anteil regionaler Rohstoffe bei der Produktion von Apfelsaft+Apfelwein erhöht werden. Eine Studie über die Biodiversität auf den Mostobstflächen ist geplant.
