Autumn raspberry fertigation: each element at the right time
Fertigatie herfstframboos: elk element op het juiste moment
Objectives
Recently, many growers in Flanders switched from summer raspberry to autumn raspberry. This cultivation requires an adapted fertigation/fertilization schedule. The application of fertilizers is currently mainly based on gift and drain EC. It is not known which element is absorbed more or less by the autumn raspberry plant at what time. In addition, a decrease in fruit quality is observed during the cultivation, mainly with regard to fruit size.
The OG wants to map the nutritional needs of autumn raspberries and make targeted adjustments for the fertigation. The grower will be able to optimize his production and deliver optimum fruit quality and fruit size throughout the season.
Objectives
Recent schakelden heel wat telers over van zomerframboos naar herfstframboos. Deze teelt vraagt een aangepast fertigatie-/bemestingsschema. Het toedienen van meststoffen is momenteel hoofdzakelijk gebaseerd op gift en drain EC. Het is niet bekend welk element op welk moment meer of minder wordt opgenomen door de herfstframboosplant. Daarenboven wordt er in de loop van de teelt een afname in de vruchtkwaliteit vastgesteld, voornamelijk voor wat betreft vruchtgrootte. De OG wil de voedingsbehoefte van herfstframbozen in kaart brengen en gericht bijsturen. Zo kan de teler zijn productie optimaliseren en gedurende het hele seizoen een optimale vruchtkwaliteit en vruchtmaat afleveren.
