Objectives

The aim of the project is to develop innovative tools for prevention and control of  pests in beekeeping - Smart Hive, Living Lab and an Inteligent Sensory Network. Clasical pathology and that associated with various behavioral afflictions require special attention because of bee colony losses worlwide. Globally, Romania is a key actor not only in apiculture, not only in apidolog. Chemical treatments for bee afflictions are inefficient, expensive, and they lower the quality/quantity of bee products. That is why beekeepers need to identify threats as early as possible and combat them efficiently, and developing, testing and using the innovations proposed through this project.

Objectives

Dezvoltarea de instrumente inovative de prevenire și combatere a dăunătorilor din apicultură - Stup Smart, Living Lab și Rețea Senzorială Inteligentă. Patologia clasică și asociată diferitelor tulburări comportamentale impun o atenție deosebită pierderilor din coloniile de albine din lumea întreagă Global, România e un actor de referință nu doar în producția apicolă, ci și în apidologie. Tratamentele chimice sunt ineficiente, costisitoare și scad calitatea/cantitatea producției. Apicultorii au nevoie să identifice timpuriu amenințările și să le trateze eficint, iar dezvoltarea, testarea și utilizarea inovărilor propuse prin proiect vor fi soluții sustenabile în acest sens.

1 Practice Abstracts

A GO and Living Lab that produce and disseminate innovation to beekeepers, increasing their efficiency. Operational smart hive (SH), which will identify the behavior of bee colonies and detect functional anomalies. Plant extracts from biologically active components of api / phyto products that will effectively fight infections and invasions from hives. SH network that monitors the welfare of bee colonies over a large area, generating a knowledge base that will allow a proactive approach to threats. Partners will avoid threats, thanks to SH (own / through notifications from SS in the area), which will detect specific anomalies and indicate preparation steps (avoid the loss of hives / honey). Natural extracts to combat bacterial and parasitic diseases, used to increase the quality of bee products and stimulate pollination. The purpose for which the specialists will use the results of the project / their usefulness: investigating / combating the threats of bee colonies, contributing to their well-being and obtaining richer harvests; development of an extensive and integrated alert / forecast system through SMS and newsletter alerts; understanding bee colony threats and providing data needed to control pathogens and behavioral abnormalities. Beyond beekeeping, the results are useful in protecting pollinators, bees and other aphids being 70% of the pollinating entomofauna, crucial for agriculture, protection of biodiversity and natural balance.

Un GO și Living Lab care produc și diseminează inovație către apicultori, crescându-le eficiența. Stup smart (SS) operașional, care va identifica comportamentul coloniilor de albine și va detecta anpmaliile funcționale. Extracte vegetale din componente biologic active ale unor produse api/fito care vor combate eficient infecțiile și invaziile din stupi. Rețea de SS care monitorizează bunăstrea coloniilor de albine pe un teritoriu extins, generând o bază de cunoștințe care va permite o abordare proactivă a amenințărilor. Partenerii vor evita amenințările, datorită SS (proprii/prin notificări de la SS din zonă), care vor detecta anomaliile specifice și vor indica pașii de pregătire (se evită pierderea de stupi/de miere). Extractele naturale pentru combaterea bolilor bacterienevirotice și parazitare, utilizate pentru creșterea calității produselor apicole și stimularea polenizării. Scopul în care specialiștii vor utiliza rezultatelor proicetului/utilitatea acestora: investigarea/combaterea amenințărilor coloniilor de albine, contribuind la bunăstarea lor și obținerea de recolte mai bogate; dezvoltarea unui sistem extins și integrat de alertă/prognoză prin alerte SMS și newsletter; înțelegerea amenințărilor coloniilor de albine și furnizarea de date necesare combaterii agenților patogeni și a anomaliilor comportamentale. Dincolo de apicultură, rezultatele sunt utile în protejarea polenizatorilor, albinele și celelalte apoide fiind 70% din entomofauna polenizatoare, crucuală pentru agricultură, protecția biodiversității și a echilibrului natural.
