1 Practice Abstracts

The aim of this project is to set up an innovative monitoring system (remas) that will allow for guidance on site targets in agriculture and in dairy farming in particular. Remas allows the accumulation of several company-specific ammonia emissions, soil surpluses and methane emissions for a given geographical area. Through the REMAS system, farmers and public authorities jointly target and benefit from each other’s strengths.

Doel van dit project is een innovatieve monitoringssystematiek (REMAS) neerzetten die sturing op gebiedsdoelen mogelijk maakt in de landbouw en in de melkveehouderij in het bijzonder. REMAS maakt de accumulatie van verschillende bedrijfsspecifieke ammoniakemissies, bodemoverschotten en methaanemissies voor een bepaald geografisch gebied mogelijk. Boeren en overheden sturen via de REMAS-systematiek gezamenlijk op doelen en profiteren maximaal van elkaars sterktes.
