VID-EXPERT has produced a final results video and presented the project at several international wine industry fairs (e.g., ENOFORUM, OIV CONGRESS, etc.). At these events, the importance of standardizing criteria when calculating the carbon footprint throughout the grape and wine production process was highlighted. VID-EXPERT can also help tool users develop mitigation plans and facilitate the acquisition and renewal of the "Sustainable Wineries for Climate Protection" certification, a benchmark for sustainability for wineries in Spain.
VID-EXPERT ha llevado a cabo un video final de resultados y ha presentado el proyecto en varias ferias internacionales del sector vitivinicola (ej. ENOFORUM, CONGRESO OIV...). En ellas, se ha resaltado la importancia de unificar criterios a la hora de llevar a cabo el calculo de la huella de carbono en todo el proceso de produccion de la uva y el vino. VID-EXPERT tambien puede ayudar ayuda a los usuarios de la herramienta en la elaboración de planes de mitigación y facilita la obtención y renovación del certificado “Sustainable Winneries for Climate Protection” como referente de sostenibilidad para las bodegas en España.
