The Spanish Association of Turmiculture Operative Group has been created to carry out this Project whose purpose is to establish and consolidate the innovative culture of the turkey or truffle of the desert as an alternative of cultivation in the Region in the face of climate change, as it is a totally ecological crop, without fertilizer or phytosanitary consumption, with native species not introduced and enormously innovative nationally and internationally, applicable in rainfed areas, unproductive, and value the consumption of these fungi to promote rural development of those less productive areas of the Region.
To do this, the following objectives are proposed:
Objective 1. Establishment of turf plantations in three different climatic and edaphic zones of the Region of Murcia.
Objective 2. Training in Turmiculture techniques, commercialization, entrepreneurship and microtourism.
Objective 3. Value of the consumption of the turma in the Region of Murcia.
Por todo lo expuesto, se ha creado el Grupo Operativo Asociación Española de Turmicultura para realizar este Proyecto cuya finalidad es establecer y consolidar el innovador cultivo de la turma o trufa del desierto como una alternativa de cultivo en la Región frente el cambio climático, por ser un cultivo totalmente ecológico, sin consumo de fertilizantes ni fitosanitarios, con especies autóctonas no introducidas y enormemente innovador a nivel nacional e internacional, aplicable en zonas de secano, poco productivas, y poner en valor el consumo de estos hongos para promover el desarrollo rural de esas zonas menos productivas de la Región.
Para ello, se proponen los siguientes objetivos:
Objetivo 1. Establecimiento de plantaciones de turmas en tres zonas climáticas y edáficas diferentes de la Región de Murcia.
Objetivo 2. Formación en técnicas de Turmicultura, comercialización, emprendimiento y micoturismo.
Objetivo 3. Puesta en valor del consumo de la turma en la Región de Murcia.
