In this project, an ozone action plan was developed for farms affected by GTD, which included inoculations of beneficial microorganisms in the soil after ozone applications. To this end, an initial physicochemical and microbiological characterisation of the soil of the plots was carried out to determine the doses and times of ozone application and to choose the most suitable micro-organisms for inoculation in the soil after the treatments.

The ozonisation treatments were carried out correctly, achieving adequate concentrations of ozone and redox potential. High concentrations of ozonised water via irrigation were used to disinfect the soil in the first year and low concentrations in the second year, with the aim of controlling VMEs in the first year and inoculating and promoting their inoculation in the second year.

and to inoculate and promote their development and stabilisation during the first and second year of new beneficial microbiology. Mycorrhizal fungi and rhizobacteria, mostly of the genus Bacillus spp. were inoculated.

Finally, an Action Plan was developed with the steps to follow with this technology, taking into account the Basic Substance Dossier; No. Ares (2020)4345559 with the European Authorities (SCOPAF).
