Environmental benefits. The potential environmental impact of the project is unquestionable by introducing and extending organic production, which is more environmentally friendly than conventional production, and by transmitting to other farmers who want to remain conventional how to carry out more environmentally beneficial agronomic practices that can also help them to reduce farm costs. In addition to having a positive impact on the environment as a result of the Pioneer farmers' conversion to organic farming, the knowledge gained through the implementation of this project will enable other farmers to reduce the use of pesticides and fertilisers, reduce erosion on their plots, improve soil fertility and increase the resilience of their farms to climate change. This environmental improvement will have a positive impact on society as a whole.

Beneficios medioambientales. Es incuestionable el potencial impacto del proyecto a nivel medioambiental al introducir y extender la producción ecológica, más respetuosa con el medio ambiente que la convencional, y al transmitir a otros agricultores que quieren mantenerse en convencional cómo realizar prácticas agronómicas más beneficiosas a nivel medioambiental que, además, pueden ayudarles a reducir costes de la explotación. Además de influir positivamente sobre el medio ambiente como resultado de la conversión a ecológico que realizarán los agricultores Pioneros, los conocimientos obtenidos gracias a la ejecución de este proyecto permitirá a otros agricutores reducir la utilización de plaguicidas y abonos, disminuir la erosión de sus parcelas, mejorar la fertilidad de sus suelos y aumentar la resiliencia de su explotación frente al cambio climático. Esta mejora medioambiental repercutirá positivamente en toda la sociedad.
