The analysis of the current market showed that out of 40 different types of barbecue cooking products (with a cost per kg ranging from €1.14 to €8.72, with an average of €2.94/kg), 45% of the evaluated products present a value per kg of less than €2.
Based on this activity, 59 potential buyers of charcoal (in Veneto Region) were identified.
Minimum quality parameters accepted by GDO have been identified, comparing them with the GAREGA charcoal. Results show that all parameters of CAREGA charcoal are broadly within the quality thresholds required by the market.
Finally, an analysis of the actual market was carried out involving local restaurants and consumers from large-scale retail stores. From the 1,188 interviews conducted, it emerged that the willingness to pay extra for a product from the Veneto region is +4.20 euros per kg, compared to a product having unknown or other origin.

L'analisi del mercato attuale ha mostrato che su 40 diversi tipi di prodotti per la cottura al barbecue (con un costo al kg che varia da 1,14 a 8,72 euro, con una media di 2,94 euro/kg), il 45% dei prodotti valutati presenta un valore al kg inferiore a 2 euro.
Sulla base di questa attività, sono stati identificati 59 potenziali acquirenti di carbone di legna (nella Regione Veneto).
Sono stati identificati i parametri minimi di qualità accettati dalla GDO, confrontandoli con il carbone di legna GAREGA. I risultati mostrano che tutti i parametri del carbone CAREGA rientrano ampiamente nelle soglie di qualità richieste dal mercato.
Infine, è stata condotta un'analisi del mercato reale, coinvolgendo ristoranti locali e consumatori della grande distribuzione. Dalle 1.188 interviste effettuate, è emerso che la disponibilità a pagare un extra per un prodotto veneto è di +4,20 euro al kg, rispetto a un prodotto di origine sconosciuta o di altra provenienza.
