Aerial images obtained at different stages of the vegetative development of the vineyard have been incorporated at a productive scale. This type of maps had been used for the precise management of fertilizers and irrigation and some crop maintenance operations, but, given that the costs of aerial images, especially those obtained by conventional aircraft (airplane), and their transformation into decision maps are becoming increasingly affordable for wine producers, what was demonstrated in the project should serve as an incentive for their generalization and their regular use in the wine-growing sector.

Se ha logrado incorporar a escala productiva las imágenes aéreas obtenidas en diferentes fases del desarrollo vegetativo del viñedo. Este tipo de mapas venían siendo utilizados para el manejo preciso de fertilizantes y el riego y de algunas operaciones de mantenimiento del cultivo, pero, dado que los costes de las imágenes aéreas, especialmente las obtenidas mediante aeronaves convencionales (avión), y su transformación en mapas de decisión son cada vez más asequibles a los productores vitícolas, lo demostrado en el proyecto debe servir de acicate para su generalización y su empleo habitual en el sector vitivinícola.
