Objectives
The Operational Group "drying hay in barn" aims to promote the drying of hay in barn and set up a STG "Hay Milk" in Wallonie.
The objectif of the GO is :
- to propose to breeders a clear route to decide to invest in a barn drying device, drawing his attention to the points to be studied upstream (production, energy, material) and downstream (valuations).
- define a coherent approach to structuring a fodder drying system in Wallonia.
- set up and develop a differentiated quality chain based on the STG "Hay Milk".
Objectives
Le Groupe Opérationnel "séchage du foin en grange" a pour objet de promouvoir le séchage du foin en grange et mettre en place une filière STG « Lait de foin » en Wallonie.
L'objectif du Groupe opérationnel est de :
- proposer aux éleveurs un itinéraire clair pour décider d’investir dans un dispositif de séchage en grange, en attirant son attention sur les points à étudier en amont (production, énergie, matériel) et en aval (valorisations).
- définir une démarche cohérente de structuration d’une filière de séchage des fourrages en Wallonie.
- mettre en place et développer une filière de qualité différentiée s’appuyant sur la STG « Lait de foin ».
Activities
Support for the dissemination and development of barn hay drying techniques through training, study tours, field visits and exchange of good practices
Accompaniment to the certification: preparation of the file of approval to organize the controls and the certification of the producers.
Creation of the association of producers of hay in Wallonia (Prolafow) on 29/06.
Activities
Soutien à la diffusion et au développement des techniques de séchage de foin en grange via formation, voyage d'étude, visites de terrain et échange de bonnes pratiques
Accompagnement à la certification : préparation dudossier d’agrément pour organiser les contrôles et la certification des producteurs.
Création de l’association de producteurs de lait de foin en Wallonie (Prolafow) le 29/06.
