1 Practice Abstracts

During the conversion of the whole holding to regenerative farming, it became clear that more steps are needed than the basic system steps to stimulate, increase and diversify soil life. This is done through so-called ‘soil-friendly’ measures. It explicitly looks at the possibilities for the potato and frie industry, which wish to introduce these principles in the interests of their suppliers (farmers).

Tijdens de omschakeling van het gehele bedrijf naar regeneratieve landbouw is duidelijk geworden dat er meer stappen nodig zijn dan de basissysteemstappen om het bodemleven te stimuleren, vergroten en te diversifiëren. Dit met zogenaamde “bodembelevende” maatregelen. Hierbij wordt expliciet gekeken naar de mogelijkheden voor de (friet)aardappelindustrie, die deze principes willen invoeren in het belang van hun leveranciers (boeren).
