Apply for three cross-visits for Operational Groups

A call for applications to host and participate in EU CAP Network cross-visits is open until 20 February 2026. The cross-visits cover plant genetic resources, robotics and AI, and production of protein crops.

The EU CAP Network is organising three cross-visits with a focus on innovation, knowledge exchange and EIP-AGRI.

Read more about the topics on the cross-visits homepage.

We are looking for EIP-AGRI Operational Group projects working on the above-mentioned topics, who are interested in:

  • hosting a cross-visit
  • joining in the cross-visits as participants

It is possible to apply to host a cross-visit as well as to attend as a participant.

Who can apply?

The applicants can represent OGs that can be either ongoing or already finished (they need to already have either intermediate or final results to share). Farmers representing OGs are strongly encouraged to apply. The eligibility and selection criteria for cross-visits can be found on the cross-visits homepage.

Applications are per OG, so if you are involved in more than one relevant OG, you can submit more than one application.

The working language during the cross-visit is English, and there will be no interpretation.

The three cross-visits will take place during the week of 15 June 2026. The duration of a cross-visit is generally one and a half days, excluding travel time.

The precise date and location of the cross-visits will be announced in the second half of March 2026, once the EIP-AGRI Operational Groups to host the field visits have been selected. Travel and accommodation (hotel) will be organised and covered by the organiser.

If you are interested in participating and actively sharing your experience and innovative ideas, please fill in the application form before 20 February 2026, 23:59 CET.
