Join us on 17 March for a Tools4CAP Academy session, where we will explore how quantitative tools can be used in your day-to-day work to strengthen CAP decision-making.
On Tuesday, 17 March 2026, from 09:30 AM to 12:00 PM (CET), Tools4CAP will host its seventh online Academy module, From methods to evidence: insights from Case Studies. This session kicks off the final year-cycle of the Tools4CAP Academy, and supports Member States in preparing for the next CAP programming period.
Building on evidence generated during the project’s first three years, the module offers a clear overview of Tools4CAP achievements to date, their relevance for CAP governance, and the roadmap for the Academy’s final year. It also helps establish a shared understanding of how Tools4CAP outputs support evidence-based policymaking and performance-oriented CAP implementation, while clarifying how Member States can use the case study findings in their day-to-day work.
The module will focus on four technically oriented case studies, showcasing advanced quantitative methods, sensitivity analysis, and data interoperability. Together, these examples illustrate the methodological diversity of Tools4CAP and demonstrate how robust analytical tools can support CAP strategic planning and performance monitoring.
Linked to the project’s Case study analyses and descriptive factsheets, the session will enable participants to:
- understand how the Tools4CAP case studies are structured, analysed and positioned within the project
- review key achievements from the first three years and clarify priorities and expectations for the final phase
- learn the analytical framework used to assess the case studies and their relevance for CAP planning, monitoring and evaluation
- deep-dive into four technically oriented case studies, covering the policy need addressed, the tool applied, key results, and added value for CAP implementation and performance monitoring.
Given the practical nature of the Academy trainings, participation is by invitation only. However, you are welcome to share this invitation with relevant contacts in your network. Interested participants can contact Raquel Pastor (rpc@aeidl.eu) to express their interest.
