The sixth meeting of the EU CAP Network's Steering Group took place on 12 May 2026 in Brussels.
The Steering Group is one of the main governance bodies of the European CAP Network alongside the Assembly. It follows up on the work of the EU CAP Network; in particular, it ensures good coordination of the thematic work of the Network.
The operational tasks of the meeting were:
- Updating on the CAP developments and the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF);
- Updating on the EU CAP Network activities and other EU initiatives relevant for the network;
- Presenting the outcomes of the Assembly and Subgroups meetings;
- Discussing the outline of the EU CAP Network Annual Work Programme for 2026/2027;
- Presenting and discussing the scope of the EU CAP Network’s self-assessment based on the Strategic Framework; and
- Collecting feedback on the Annual Work Programme (AWP) process.
