Join the CODECS Final Conference to explore how sustainable and inclusive digitalisation can strengthen the competitiveness, resilience and sustainability of European agriculture.
The CODECS Final Conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, farmers, advisors, technology providers, rural networks and other stakeholders to explore how digitalisation can contribute to a more sustainable, competitive and resilient European agricultural sector.
As digital technologies become increasingly integrated into farming and rural areas, they offer significant opportunities to improve productivity, resource efficiency and decision-making. However, ensuring that digitalisation benefits all actors requires appropriate governance, supportive policies, accessible innovation ecosystems and an inclusive approach that leaves no one behind.
The conference marks the conclusion of the CODECS project and provides an opportunity to share the knowledge, evidence and practical tools developed over the past four years. Participants will gain insights into how digitalisation is being implemented across diverse European farming systems and discuss the factors that enable or hinder its successful adoption.
The programme combines scientific evidence with practical experience from the CODECS Living Labs, demonstrating how digital solutions are being tested and applied in real agricultural contexts. It will also present policy recommendations and governance tools designed to support decision-makers in fostering a digital transition that is environmentally sustainable, economically viable and socially inclusive.
The event will encourage dialogue between European institutions, national and regional authorities, researchers, farmers' organisations, advisory services, innovation support organisations and representatives from the agri-food sector. Through interactive discussions, participants will exchange perspectives on the future of digital agriculture and identify priorities for research, innovation and policymaking under evolving EU priorities.
Whether you are involved in agricultural policy, rural development, research, innovation or advisory services, the CODECS Final Conference offers an excellent opportunity to discover the project's results, exchange experiences with experts from across Europe, expand your professional network and contribute to discussions on shaping a sustainable digital future for European agriculture.
