Join the BEATLES webinar to discuss how EU policy and funding reforms can better support Climate-Smart Agriculture.

The BEATLES project is organising an online webinar, “Turning CAP Policy into CSA Action,” on 17 March 2026, from 09:00 to 11:00 (CET).

The webinar will examine how upcoming EU policy and funding reforms could better support Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA). It will focus on how strategic financing, implementation mechanisms, and performance tools can be aligned across the policy cycle, and will discuss practical approaches to translate Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) objectives into CSA-related action.

The session will include contributions from AEIDL (European Association for Innovation in Local Development), which leads the BEATLES work on policy recommendations. Topics will include:

  • The implications of the upcoming EU Multiannual Financial Framework 2028–2034
  • Key BEATLES findings related to CAP Strategic Plans
  • Options to strengthen performance and data frameworks to better deliver CSA outcomes

In addition, the synergy project PRUDENT will present its Toolbox as a practical resource to help address regulatory gaps under the CAP 2028–2034 framework.

The webinar is open to policymakers, practitioners, researchers, civil society representatives, farmers, and other stakeholders interested in the future of EU agricultural policy and the implementation tools needed to support climate-smart farming systems.
