The 3rd edition of the SMART VILLAGE Forum will open its doors between June 28 and July 3, 2023 at the Delta hotel in the Jupiter resort, through a participatory event that will reflect the role of the authorities and the business environment in consolidating the long-term vision on rural communitie

The EU CAP Network seminar 'Fostering an effective and integrated AKIS in Member States' will take place in Vilnius (Lithuania) on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 June 2023. Participation is by invitation only.

The Ministry of Rural Affairs and Infrastructure & the Swedish National Rural Network (CAP network) welcome relevant stakeholders involved in the implementation of green architecture and animal welfare of the CAP to the conference.

This will be the second meeting of the Thematic Group on Rural Youth Employment: the Voice of Rural Youth. More info will follow soon.

The EU CAP Network workshop ‘Animal welfare and innovation’ will take place in Hanover (Germany) from Tuesday 9 to Thursday 11 May 2023. The event will focus on exchanging innovative practices and practical knowledge on animal welfare.

The long-term vision for the EU’s rural areas was launched in June 2021. Since then, rural pact mobilisation has started in various parts of the Union, to make rural Europe stronger, connected, resilient and prosperous by 2040.

The conference will provide a forum for sharing views and experiences on the just transition process to stakeholders from national, local and regional authorities as well as economic and social partners, the wider society and representatives from the European Commission.

This will be the first meeting of the new LEADER and territorial development Subgroup, which is part of the governance of the European CAP Network.
